Families, veterans, and the public can search for those who are buried at ANC.
In anticipation of the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on November 11, 2021, Arlington National Cemetery has updated our ANC Explorer app.Users can locate gravesites and other points of interest throughout the cemetery, generate front-and-back pictures of a marker or monument, and receive step-by-step directions to these locations. The app also provides emergency and event notifications and the ability to share on popular social media sites. Users can save favorite places in My Content to create their own custom walking tours.Updated the mapping toolkit.

App provides good information but the search function for finding graves is not stable providing correct information only part of the time.
Intuitive and a great search engine. Everything I need when visiting my brother-in-law and when I lay wreaths in December.

I found my parents' and sister's graves easily with this app. It's easy to use and even provides directions to graves. It shows photos of headstones, which allowed me to verify that my Mom's service was correctly noted, just as my Dad's was.
When the app works, it's great. But it froze or crashed so often that it was worthless most of the time. 2 other people in my group had the same issues when they tried it.

Doesnt work...
The app was helpful in location the gravesite and showing you photo of the headstone, but using the map feature to locate the site is next to impossible. It simply freezes. Tried several times and just doesn't want to cooperate.
